I think this is just about the best and most honest review of Cunard so far. The worst thing for me would just be how clearly outdated the ship is compared to essentially everyone else.. Like even the lower class cruise lines seem to be more updated than this as far as things like cabin amenities. The cabins on this ship are terribly outdated. Food is also a big deal to me, as I'm not as much of a party animal as I used to be.. So far the best experiences I've had with food on cruises have been Princess and Celebrity, hands down. Especially Princess.

aww amazing, I think you definitely get an affinity with loved cruise ships, mine are the Disney fantasy, sky princess and valiant lady.

You are the kindest cruise vloggers on YT! Disney was our first cruise line as well, and your vid brings back fond memories nearly 25 years later...the ship and cabin looks *exactly* the same as our first....no exaggeration! But I'm sorry, $1000/day is a *ridiculuous* rate for any cruise, much less an oceanview on a ship this old. It is clear you guys are giving this ship *a lot* of extra latitude due to your fond memories--which we can *completely* understand! But I would not be nearly as happy as *you* are with the state of your cabin, etc. And sorry, but Virgin's sailaway party is *so* much better for anyone over the age of 18!

Disney sounds so nice, but way over our budget. Before COVID, we commonly found Cruises with Guaranteed Inside rooms for $39/day and under. Now it's hard to find any under $49/day...but they are out there, just not that many. We go in the "Shoulder Season" (Sept -Dec) on Caribbean Cruises out of Florida. We want the most Cruising Days for the least amount of money.

We LOVE that ship too. We did a Transatlantic 14 day in 2017. We paid what you paid for the 3 day!! Ah the good old days. Shame about the dirty cabin 😮

As a smoker and GenX-er, I'm putting MSC on the top of my list. It's not so much the smoking I favor, but I'm assuming a more relaxed and easygoing crowd who don't need too much pampering and are less easily offended.

I would be complaining if I paid for a balcony and they put me in one without one. Hope you got a refund. I think Disney cruises are more expensive than other luxury cruises like Regents per night

I would have been very upset with booking a balcony and getting a cabin with just a window.

Just found your channel, and I’m glad I did! Really appreciated the in-depth review. My husband and I sailed on Cunard in 2017. It was grand. The food and service was exceptional. We were thinking about another trip with Cunard but I think we’ll wait for a bit. Maybe they’ll get the quality back up, or we’ll find another line to do transatlantic or Panama Canal.

We just took a Danube river cruise on Viva river cruises- the rooms were spotless. This was our first cruise but my husband travels for work. He would have been very disappointed if our room was that dirty. He was unsure about taking a cruise because we don’t usually spend a lot of money (hotel and cc points 😊) but he ended up thinking we got a great deal for the product provided.

Can't you do something about that outstanding tooth????

I have to say that I really did enjoy this review. I knew from initially clicking onto it that this was going to be A. Review that had a bit of issues involved with it. However. I was so caught up with the review meaning. I was enjoying it so much, I've forgotten. That y'all had indicated that something had occurred. And then when you spoke about it, I was like holy cow! This is really crazy like I was really enjoying this review. And for this to happen, it's just crazy from what I can see y'all was totally professional. About everything so it is beyond me to understand why they took this position. Great job. Great review. And I will continue watching your videos.

That cabana looks awesome!!! I am taking my friend on her very first cruise and probably vacation too. This private cabana would be great. But I cannot spend 2500 for this. With our car broken down and mine is on the verge, its hard. Its beautiful though.

Can I just say it’s great that you guys were so professional and positive about things and upbeat saying “hey we are here the first day and there will be issues but I’m sure Disney will address them.” I’ve been seeing several vloggers be so negative and nasty about the first visit there.

I like the fact that Disney Cruise is only a personal favorite.

I love DCL. I don't love their prices. We sailed on The Dream in 2012 and it was about $1k a night for four of us on the concierge level. The last time we cruised with them was 2018. I don't know people can pay today's prices.

The company that makes H20 is phasing out their toiletry products so Disney have been forced to switch products across the cruise lines and hotels.

I would be very irritated with the dirt in the cabin. Esp. for what you have paid. CRAZY. I would not have expected this from Disney. It's unlikely that I'll take a Disney Cruise but love your honest review.

Yeah I enjoy the boys videos but it’s everything I would hate, it’s a masochistic view! Crowds of people, locked into a space, not being able to eat what I want and when and paying for what I don’t eat or drink but not being able to get what I want, booking in for food and shows, the level of other people’s germs! Possibility of weather disasters! It’s everything I hate in a holiday! Overconsumption and like living in a shopping centre! Trying to get away from people constantly! Not for me but I still love watching ❤

Did my second cruise this year in the Caribbean sea and it was fabulous. Now I stumbled over your account and I can't stop watching. You both are so positive people and create amazing content. For me it's interesting to explore the new ships and get your point of view as you have already seen a lot of ships. Great content

Just finished watching your Prima blog which I had seen last year - BUT paying more attention to it as the Prima will be sailing from NYC in 2025. Now I definitely want to try it for sure. I am a "Fun Ship" gal (in NJ) but love the look of the Prima. Safe travels!
